Suman Iyanger Chatterjee

Head of External Affairs and Fundraising

Suman Iyanger Chatterjee, our Head of External Affairs and Fundraising, co-founded Kala Sangam with the aspiration to make the stage available to every talent. Suman is a passionate advocate for the rich heritage of Indian classical music and a trained Kathak dancer, whose artistry and dedication inspire all who know her. She brings her expertise as a Product Manager at Microsoft, where she has also led the GIVE campaign and raised funds for multiple nonprofits, demonstrating her commitment to community empowerment and social impact. Suman works tirelessly to ensure Kala Sangam is a welcoming platform for artists of all backgrounds. Her leadership, creativity, and commitment help bridge generations and open doors for emerging talent, making our mission possible.
